It's Been Awhile
So it's been a few months, I actually decided to stop playing online for fear of losing all my money again like with the whole full tilt thing. I've started playing live low stakes at the casinos - mainly 1/2. I've actually been doing really well and I've started making some videos about the play style and such that I think is effective for these games.

Update
So, I've been doing some research since I'm a US player and I was worried about my money, especially after the whole Full Tilt scandal, and I'm somewhat worried about Bo-vada-Dog. So as a precaution I decided to cash-out and I had to do it through MyPayLinQ. I just want to make sure I'm going to get paid, I've also done a lot of reading and it seems like I'm losing a lot of income by not playing with Rakeback, and anyways I'm kinda annoyed with their software not popping up right, making it difficult to really do more than 3 tables, when they only offer 4 at a time anyways. So, I've cashed out my 450, and I plan on funding a Cake Poker Account, probably with Western Union since it seems to be one of the more faster ways to get a payout.
So, I should be up and running again in a few days, I'm also going out tonight to get a new computer, then I should be able to run duel monitors and be able to run more tables than just 4. This is my plan anyways! Stay tuned!

Day 9
Beginning Day 9 Bankroll: 278.19
It's been a couple days since I actually played and I really don't remember much of the action from day 9, but I did make a couple videos and I'll upload them here. Day 9 was a really good day, ran pretty hot, and my bankroll is up to 449.95! Only 50.05$ away from moving up to NL25! Pretty exciting if I do say so myself, stay tuned!

Day 8 in the Books!
Day 8 was a bit of a rollercoaster ride again for the second straight day, I made some really questionable decisions which are obvious leaks in my game; and I have to learn to step away from the game for a second when I'm upset or have other things on my mind other than poker. I should have been up close to 100$ today but only finished up 43$, again it was a pretty decent day but again just like day 7 it could have been much better. But there are a few ideas I want to start working into my game, thanks to a few great ideas I picked up from Phil Galfonds posts over at 2+2, posts that are a few years old. My favorite one I picked up was this:
"There are more options than you think you have. Thinking outside the box, turning made hands that are good enough to call into bluffraises that turn out to be even more profitable."
And the other big one I'm going to hold with me and try to apply at all occasions is this:
"Every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play."
Poker is a much deeper game than you initially think, and I'm going to continue to work as hard as I can, study the thought processes and ideas of great players and try to become a beast in my own right.
Stay tuned, because I'm going to the top.

Day 7 Recap!
I didn't have a chance to make a post last night after I finished up, and I had a long day of work today so I'm just now finally getting a chance to post about how yesterday went. I started the day with 215$ and some change, I decided not to immediately jump into the NL10 and just stick with the NL5 until I reached 230 and had enough to lose 3 buy-ins and still have 200, I'm weird like that. I didn't start of playing that well though, I was in a bad move and I probably shouldn't have been playing anyways, and I made 2 decisions that ended up costing me 10 dollars in the first hour. The first I had K10s on the button and was the first in the pot so I raised it up, and the BB flat called. Flop came down 4Q7, BB checked, I bet into him about 3/4ths the pot, he called. Turn came a K lucky me right!? This time he bet into me, and it just seemed like he was slow playing me with the Q, because a lot of players will check-call lead the turn when they hit the flop, so that's where I felt like I was, so I reraised him ending up getting all-in just to see he had AK, ouch. Next hand I had pocket 8's and was in the CO, there was an early raiser, and I just flatted to try to spike a set, no set and this time flop came down 2J5, I felt like I was still ahead and he lead out into me, so I reraised him, he flat called and the turn came a K, then he lead out again and I figured it was a toss up from him having AK, or AQ, I figured I'd be right enough of the time to shove and be ahead, or even to get top pair to fold. So I shoved, he called though, didn't even think about me having a set, and turned over AK, another AK, K on the turn thing.
After that though I settled down and started playing much better, started at 215, went down to 205 then back up to 232$ and some change, when I hit that mark I closed my NL5 tables and opened up to NL10 tables! Exciting! (Fiance showed up and I didn't get anytime to play after work yesterday or even finish the blog but here we go). The first half hour of the NL10 tables didn't go so well, the first hand I had KJs in the BB and the button raised and I flat called and someone who limped in early position also flat called. Flop came down 26K, and I did something I shouldn't do, I checked to the raiser figuring he would bluff at it. I checked, and both other players checked behind. Turn was a 9, this time I bet out, guy in early position folded and the original raiser check raised me, the first thing I thought was he spiked a set of 9's on the turn, but somehow I talked myself into him bluffing, which I promise you hardly ever happens at the micro stakes, if you just have top pair and you are raised, or check raised, I'd say at least 80% of the time more than likely more than that they have you crushed. But I talked myself into it and ended up losing 10$ on that hand because he did spike a set of 9's on the turn. Then I had pocket aces and ended up folding and losing 4$ and some change because I knew he had me beat. After starting out bad though I started playing much better, was down to around 215 again, and I closed out up to 236.18$ - so at the end of the day and the end of the rollercoaster ride I was up 21$.
After the way the day went though, I've decided to implement a new rule for myself, and that's if I'm ever raised by someone after I've lead out or if I'm check raised, I'm going to fold. The best +EV play in this situation, is to fold. Keep that in mind.

Day 7
So this is what my bankroll looks like at the start of Day 7
So, after 6 days I'm up to 215.53$, that's up from 73$ which is a 6 day profit of 142.53$. Which, I've played pretty close to 4 hours a day sticking to my plan, which means I'm making 5.93$ an hour, and I've done most of it 2 tabling, which means I've made about 2.96$ an hour per table. Which is a little more than 49BB an hour. My sample of hands though isn't very large, that's about 3,000 hands, and over a larger sample it's more than likely not possible to hold a rate near that high. 10-15BB per hour might be possible to hold at the NL5 over a larger sample, but even that might be a stretch.
