I'm baaaaack!!!

December 21st 2011 - Exactly 1 year before the end of the world!

I haven't played online poker in a couple months, but I'm back now and I thought it would be a lot of fun if I kept a blog going about the status of my play and the money I'm making. I'll actually be Video Blogging all of my play! So in reality it'll be vlogging! Last night I put in 73 dollars into my Bovada (Bodog's New Name) Account, and within 3 hours I had it up to 99$ and some change. Which is a ridiculous BB/100.... I just took a second to do the math on that lol, was just curious, but figuring in I was playing 3 tables at roughly 60 hands an hour per table, which would mean I played about 540 hands (which I know isn't right because I didn't play the full 3 hours) which means I was making 4.80$ per 100 hands which means at .02/.05 I was making 48BB/100. If only I could keep that over the long haul!!

But anyways I'm going to do this everyday, there might be a few days coming up where I can't since Christmas is in a few days and I'm going to be spending time with the love of my life who is pregnant with out first child, do in April! Right around my birthday too! So yeah I may not be able to play everyday the next couple weeks, but I'll do what I can.

I'm going to do my best to stick to a good bankroll management plan, only play at cash game stakes where I have at least 20 buy ins, of course I couldn't really do that last night because for the .02/.05 you would need 100$ for 20 buy ins, but it doesn't really mater because if I go under that amount it's not like I can move down in limits. Also, Instead of playing my general LAG style of poker, I'm changing up gears and focusing more on a TAG approach, pre flop mainly. And I'm also going to limit myself to playing only 4 hours a day, I find that the way I play when I get into this is too much and I burn myself out and start playing bad poker; because normally I'll play 12+ hours a day 7 days a week. I'm taking a smarter more refined approach this time, less risk and less mistakes, it's going to be a real grind.
